Whether under the banner of SSE or under the banner of SAW, our campaign has always been based on well-researched facts and has attached great importance to working with like-minded campaign groups and building relationships and trust with politicians, civil servants, opinion formers and the media – locally and nationally.  As a result, we have earned a reputation for in-depth knowledge of the aviation sector and the impact that the industry can have on local communities and the environment.

We have always acted and spoken out fearlessly and will continue to do so with the support of our 7,500 members and online supporters including around 150 special interest and environmental organisations, parish and town councils and other communities threatened by airport expansion.
