SSE to attend Labour Party Conference

Once again Stop Stansted Expansion will be attending the Labour Party Conference to bring pressure to bear on Ministers and their special advisers as they meet for their annual autumn gathering in Brighton next week (w/c 25 September).

Amongst the issues which SSE expects to raise in the many fringe meetings and during one-to-one discussions outside the main conference sessions will be the BAA airport monopoly in the south east and the reluctance of the aviation industry to fund the proposed second runway at Stansted when its commercial viability remains unproven.
