Put up Posters to tell Visiting Politicians – No

With visits to Stansted from the Secretary of State for Transport’s opposite numbers in the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives planned for 13 and 14 February, Stop Stansted Expansion is urging local people to put up or renew posters opposing the addition of extra runways at the airport to reinforce the opposition to the proposals.

The programmes for the politicians (Tom Brake and Don Foster for the Liberal Democrats, and Tim Collins for the Conservatives) are currently being finalised but will (at the least) take in the following communities:

Stansted Airport, Broxted, Thaxted, the Eastons, Dunmow, the Canfields, Hatfield Broad Oak, Hatfield Forest, Little and Great Hallingbury, Bishop¹s Stortford, Stansted Mountfitchet, Duton Hill, Quendon, Newport, Saffron Walden and Debden.

A4 and A3 posters (including laminated copies for external display) can be obtained by contacting the Stop Stansted Expansion campaign office on 01279 870558.
